Responsible for raising over £350k for the new ‘Air Ambulance’ service, through extensive public speaking,media relations, promotion, campaigning and marketing. Day-to-day activities included establishing andmanaging a team of volunteer supporters, organising fund-raising events, liaising with the local media, givingpresentations, writing fund-raising applications and establishing a County base for the Air Ambulance charity.Achievements included securing a £100k cause-related marketing campaign with a national finance company,gaining corporate media sponsorship of the Air Ambulance helicopter, sponsorship for charity lease cars,sponsorship of office accommodation and equipment.
